Will Rhymes Collapses 2012 Video

Wednesday night took a scary turn in the eighth inning when Tampa Bay's Will Rhymes collapsed on the field shortly after getting hit in the arm by a pitch from Boston's Franklin Morales.

Morales' fastball nailed Rhymes in the right arm, causing the second baseman to immediately lose his footing and fall down in pain. Manager Joe Maddon and a trainer ran onto the field to attend to him and Rhymes eventually walked to first.

Once Rhymes got to first, he gestured to the coaching staff that he wanted to come out. Then he took a few steps and collapsed, falling into the arms of first base coach George Hendrick.

Brett Lawrie Ejected Photos and Video 2012

Blue Jays third baseman Brett Lawrie went nuts after a called third strike tonight. The pitch was pretty far off the plate, and Lawrie was completely in the right for being pissed off about the call. But then, he spiked his helmet...and the helmet hit home plate umpire Bill Miller. Not good. Lawrie will likely face a suspension for that one.

The situation that the call was made in was absolutely terrible for Lawrie and the Blue Jays, in the bottom of the ninth inning with one out in a one run game. If Lawrie got on base, the Blue Jays would have had at least a hope at a rally.

Things eventually got worse (somehow) in Toronto, as a fan threw a beer at Miller as the umpires were exiting the field after the game.

Manchester City Vs. Queens Park Rangers 2012 Manchester city Win Celebrate HD Photos and Video

Manchester City won the English title for the first time in 44 years, surging past Queens Park Rangers 3-2 on Sunday with Sergio Aguero scoring his team's second goal late in stoppage time.

Aguero, the son-in-law of Argentine great Diego Maradona, scored during the fourth minute of injury time, two minutes after substitute Edin Dzeko made it 2-2. The winning goal snatched the trophy from defending champion Manchester United on goal difference. Without Aguero's startling goal, United would have won the title after its 1-0 victory over Sunderland moments earlier on the final day of the season.

Fenerbahce Riot Video 2012 HD Full

Turkey's football championship final ended in a mass riot, as hundreds of angry supporters of Istanbul side Fenerbahçe reacted to their team's goal-less draw. After the game, Fenerbahçe fans stormed the pitch as well as throwing flares and plastic chairs. Police had to protect players with their riot shields as they fled to the locker rooms at Fenerbahçe's Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. The violence continued outside the stadium with Fenerbahçe fans throwing stones at police, turning over trash bins and smashing shop windows. Two police cars were turned over and torched.

Turkish Super League Championship on Saturday.

The goalless game allowed Galatasaray to clinch the league title one point ahead of Fenerbahce. The BBC reports that police used pepper spray to disperse the rioting crowd of Fenerbahce fans that mobbed the field after the match, lighting flares and breaking and throwing plastic chairs.

LeBron James Wins 3rd NBA MVP Award Video

The Associated Press that James will be announced Saturday as this year's winner of the league's top individual honor, and that he'll be formally presented with the trophy by Commissioner David Stern on Sunday afternoon before Miami hosts Indiana in Game 1 of an Eastern Conference semifinal series.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the league has not announced the results. Late Friday night, the Heat released plans for a 1 p.m. Saturday event on the court at AmericanAirlines Arena so the team and the NBA could "make a major announcement."

James is winning the award for the third time in four seasons. Only seven other players – Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Moses Malone – have at least three MVP trophies.

James said last week that while another MVP award "would be amazing and would be humbling," it's not what drives him. In his ninth season, James still has not won an NBA title and it's clear that, although he wanted to reclaim the MVP trophy, winning a championship is far and away his top basketball priority.

"What I'm all about is team and ever since I was a kid, I was always taught it's team first," James told the AP on Friday. "My first time playing basketball, we went undefeated and won a championship and Frank Walker Sr. gave everyone on the team a MVP trophy. Right then and there, I knew that this is what I wanted to do. I wanted to see my teammates reap the benefits as well."

celtics vs. hawks 2012 Hawks Lose To Celtics Video

Chicago Bulls can attest. So can Al Horford. However, Horford and the Atlanta Hawks looked to have a strong case for an additional free throw attempt in the waning moments of their series-ending 83-80 loss to the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the first-round NBA playoff series.

Trailing by two points with just 3.1 seconds remaining on the clock, the Hawks were inbounding the ball beneath the Celtics' basket. Mercurial swingman Marvin Williams was the inbounder while his teammates Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Al Horford and Jeff Teague attempted to get open.

As Williams was inbounding the ball -- or perhaps just before he threw it in -- a whistle sounded, triggered by a foul from Marquis Daniels of the Celtics against Horford. TNT announcer and former NBA coach Mike Fratello quickly grasped the significance of the foul as Daniels looked around nervously. Fratello told viewers that "if that was out of bounds and the ball was not passed in [then] that's two shots."

Angels vs. Blue Jays game Drunk Fans Fight Video

Pujols got the night off last night as his average had dipped below .200 on Friday, and he is still looking for his first home run as an Angel. His replacement at first base, Mark Trumbo, hit a home run in the sixth that proved to be the winning run as the Angels went on to beat the Blue Jays, 6-2.

Some female Angels fans mixed it up in a brief skirmish (all the action is in the first 25 seconds of the video). The lesson here, much like Torrey Smith learned last year, is that long hair gives a tackler a chance from behind. It appears that two women are in a shoving match when a third comes from up a few rows to end it with the hair throw down. If you are going to get in a baseball game chick fight, the lessons are don’t have really long hair and get the high ground.

In the video above, two women wearing Angels gear appear to get in a shoving match. After one of the women threw a punch, another woman intervened from behind, dragging the puncher down by her hair.

A male fan, who appeared to be with the woman who threw the initial punch, jumped in the middle of the melee and stopped the fight. A stadium employee kicked both the man and the woman who threw that punch out of the stadium.

There have already been a number of fan fights at baseball games and we're only a month into the season.

Just last week, a Red Sox fan tumbled down the steps after she engaged in a fight with a row full of Yankees fans during a game in which the Red Sox weren't even playing.

The two couples you see in this vid who are told to leave the stands were clearly drunk, being rude, and obnoxious. They both picked fights with people around them, yelling profane words. The lady in red (who pulls the drunk girl by her hair) told them to leave before she called security. The drunk girl called her bluff, and was going to confront the lady in red, just as she was making her way to confront the lady in red, the drunk girl gets pushed forward by the person behind her, then the drunk girl turns to charge at the girl who pushed her, then begins the vid.
